Pastoral Council Minutes April 29, 2010
John Judge led the group in faith sharing.
We discussed Holy Trinity’s outreach efforts. The sense of the Council is that Holy Trinity does a great deal of outreach. Father suggested that major outreach efforts be concentrated in Ordinary Times, but to emphasize prayer and reflection during Advent and Lent. Specifically, he is seeking ideas on ways to nurture spirituality during Advent and Lent. A parish mission was mentioned as one idea. Another was a Taize’ prayer service.
Council members shared the feedback they’ve received from their phone campaign. Feedback has been totally positive.
The idea of a Potluck Scramble was approved for the month of October. Karen Quiner said she would coordinate.
