The Mission of Holy Trinity is to be a faith-filled Eucharistic community committed to Christ-centered stewardship especially through education, justice, hospitality, and service. We fulfill this mission through all our parish endeavors.
The center of our parish life and the source and summit of our lives is the Eucharist. God’s presence is made known to us as we gather weekly as a community of believers, listening and responding to the Word of God and receiving at the Lord’s Table the Body and Blood of our Lord. From this weekly sacred gathering, each of us is responsible for proclaiming the Good News: God is one with us.
As a community dedicated to education, we offer many opportunities to nurture and deepen our faith throughout the week and during our weekend liturgies; pre-school through eighth grade school, faith formation for our public school youth, and retreat faith formation opportunities for adults. This is a community which places great value on this endeavor - to educate and form individuals in the faith of the Church.
Holy Trinity has a long history of being committed to issues of justice. We educate ourselves on global and local justice concerns. Our response to these issues is guided by the Gospel of Jesus, the teachings of the Second Vatican Council, the statements of the United States Catholic Bishops Conference and the Holy Father. We strive to bring about a world of peace through acts of justice.
Holy Trinity is known as a community of hospitality. We welcome parishioners and guests with open arms. We assist our fellow parishioners in times of need. Holy Trinity has its doors and its hearts open to Christ, who is present to us in one another.
At Holy Trinity, there are numerous service opportunities offered for those that want to get involved in their parish. Some of these opportunities occur during the seasons of Advent and Lent. A number of parish organizations also assist in service projects for local agencies and/or parish events. Additionally, some of our parishioners prepare and serve meals at local homeless shelters - as well as provide P.A.T.C.H. housing in which a homeless family can receive short-term rent free housing while they develop resources for permanent housing.
Thank you for choosing Holy Trinity as your parish community. Let us strive to live our mission of being committed to our pillars of strength - education, justice, hospitality and service. Our mission is acknowledged whenever we gather at the Eucharistic table of the Lord, who is our Way, our Truth, and our Life. Welcome - Father Michael Amadeo
